Concierge physical therapy
We strive to create personalized treatment programs. We work with your goals, beliefs and lifestyle to customize your treatment and wellness plan.
Knowledge is Wealth
Our treatment programs include plenty of education to empower you and give you full control over your recovery. During your visits you will gain the tools to help treat the problem and prevent future injury.
We treat the whole body
Our method is a whole-body systems approach. We evaluate the entire body instead of just where you experience symptoms. The way you sit, walk, breathe, and think all have an effect on how you function. You will learn how different regions of the body relate to each other. The goal is to investigate and address the root causes to your symptoms, heal your pain and restore your mobility and function.
Falls
Falls are a leading cause of serious injury in older people. There are many risk factors for falling, including safety hazards in the home, medication side effects, walking and vision problems, dizziness, arthritis, weakness, and malnutrition. Like other geriatric syndromes, falls usually have more than one cause.
Physical Therapists can evaluate balance, gait analysis, ROM and strength. Physical therapists are movement experts that can create specific exercise programs to strengthen and reduce risk of falls.
Lack of bladder control, or “urinary incontinence,” is an embarrassing topic. Please know that you are not alone! Urinary incontinence can lead to problems such as falls, depression, and isolation. In most cases, incontinence can be cured or greatly improved with treatment. So don’t hesitate to tell your healthcare provider if you have bladder control problems.
Physical therapists are experts in treating movement disorders including pelvic floor disorders.
Dementia, most simply, is a memory problem significant enough to affect your ability to carry out your usual tasks. While the most common cause is Alzheimer’s Disease, there are many other types. Various tests can help determine whether you or someone you care for might have dementia and what type it might be. If so, there are treatments that can improve function and slow down the disease. Physical therapists have the skill to work with people who have varying levels of dementia. Incorporating regular exercise into our lifestyle helps prevent decline in function.
Osteoporosis, or “thinning bones,” is a condition that makes the bones of older adults more fragile and easy to break. Women 65 and older, and men over age 70, should get a bone mass density (BMD) test. Increased calcium and vitamin D intake, strength training exercises, and weight-bearing exercises such as walking are important to keeping your bones healthy.
Weight loss is a very common problem in older adults. Weight loss can be caused by the diminished sense of taste that comes with aging, or it can be a suggestion of an underlying serious medical problem. No matter the cause, weight loss can lead to other problems, such as weakness, falls, and bone disorders.

Owner and Founder
I'm Vijayalakshmi Krishnamoorthi, Physical Therapist and entrepreneur. I graduated from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions with specialization in administration and Practice management. I stared my career working in a retirement community and my passion for treating the ageing population has grown since then. I have 17 years of clinical experience working in SNF, outpatient, Home health settings. Treating orthopedic and neurological conditions in all age groups especially the geriatric population lead me to focus my expertise on fall prevention and fall risk reduction in the elderly. With the ever changing healthcare world, I see the need for shifting care delivery. I feel patients should be empowered to drive their treatment pathway rather than be on the receiving end. As a physical therapist I also take on the role of a teacher/instructor that gives my patients the tools that they need to heal and prevent further injury. Women's health is a largely underserved area in the Physical Therapy arena. As a mother of two children myself, I've found my new passion in treating women throughout pregnancy, post partum and the active women through peri-menopause, and menopause.
